Description

The photo ‘Even Solomon’ is a reference to the proverb of Jesus “Consider the lillies of the field. They neither reap nor sow yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his splendour was not arrayed as one of these”. The house of cards also draws on a well known proverb ‘the straw that broke the camel’s back’. In two paradoxical images, a daisy chain impossibly attempts to retract the jaws of a pair of secateurs and a jar is sealed by a heart padlock but the key to the padlock appears to be mysteriously inside the jar.

Prices are per size. Prints are printed in-house. They are posted flat, in A3 and A4 envelopes with cardboard stiffeners. A notice, ‘Do Not Bend’ is clearly visible on each envelope. Prints come unmounted and unframed. Narrow border is minimum 15mm, wide border is minimum 40mm. Handwritten signature of artist on each print. The signature will appear within the border area of the print so as to appear when mounted. Prints are sprayed with Gloss/Matt UV spray for increased longevity against light.
